A little inspiration? Specification: Vauxhall Astra Saloon (also known as: Vauxhall Belmont, Opel Kadette Knotchback) Bodywork : Slightly wider than average bodywork. Engine: 403ci (6600cc) All Alloy Chevrolet V8, built by Terry Burnett at "The Performance Connection" Transmission: GM Muncie M22 (close ratio synchromesh "Rock Crusher") Rear Axle: "Strange" 9" with TrueTrac Torsen Diff, 3.25:1 ratio Suspension:- Front : MacPherson Strut, 2.5" Adjustable Coil-overs, fabricated topmounts, lower arms, anti-rollbar with Lotus F1 adjustable links, fully rose-jointed and adjustable. Ford Capri steering rack, Ford type hubs. Rear: Five-Link trailing arm setup, with adjustable coil-over dampers. All rose-jointed, and fully adjustable. Brakes:- Front : F3000 Discs with AP F3000 calipers. Rear: Nascar Discs with Wilwood Supalite III Calipers. Fuel Tank: Specially made 20 Gallon foam filled alloy tank. Wheels & Tyres: Front: 9.5" x 18" with Dunlop Slicks, Rear: 11" x 18" with Dunlop Slicks. In Car Entertainment - Steering Wheel, Engine, Gearbox, Throttle pedal (occaisional use of brakes). Safety : Schroth Six Point Harness, approved for use with the HANS device that I use with my helmet. Performance: Horsepower : 700 approx Torque : 550lbs/ft plus Top Speed : Currently rev limited to 7600 and 184mph with the 3.25:1 diff. Engine can rev to 8200 = 198.91MPH Team Dangerous

Hi there! I used to be a member of AR-Online and I actually did a photoshop of a Vauxhall Belmont and an Austin Montego Vanden Plas. *The original Image is nowhere to be seen, so if someone has it please say now. However, the story went that Delmonte got annoyed because Belmonte breeched their copyrighting laws, so in retaliation, they dropped a massive pineapple onto the Belmonte * There was an un-crushed version

A 2dr belmont does look good? Was it ever built abraod like the 2dr jetta's and orions?

Not very good technically I know. Well certainly better than my shonky efforts!! (I've only had photoshop for a few days on the free 30 day trial, so it's all new to me!! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.... ;D)
