I called a man at the DVLA (info is free and he's v. friendly). You need a relavent interest, I told him I was the 104 registrar for Club Peugeot UK - but he didn't check or owt and he just checks on his 'puter there and then!
cool
If anyone wants his phone I can pm it.

Any remaining car stats make interesting reading. Right here in the car park where I'm temporarily working there's a 'V' reg 304 Estate. I was looking at the thing and wondered just how many of those babys survive.
The Datsun owners club magazine published figures from 1995, 1997 and 2001 and needless to say the findings get more tragic every time.

Not many, thats for sure! I'll check and post my findings...almost certainly less than 10 registered with the DVLA though.
