Possibly. Although it's not a super desirable model. All depends how you try to sell it when you get it here, and how quick a return you need on your investment.
Tread carefully would be my advice....

Not that much of a quick return, say after a year of using it.

Its super cool, but I cant see there being a huge queue of folk wanting to give you 6.5k+ for it.

better off sticking your money on the lottery tbh. i know of a few lowriders that have been for sale of late and they are really hard to shift and they all end up quite a bit less than original price. if i were you i'd be very careful for an imformed opinion try here www.lowriderforums.com/forums/

Not that much of a quick return, say after a year of using it. AHA! In that case I say go for it.... why? Think of the ca$h you can rape in that time, hiring it out for tv / film / pop video / promo / wedding hire work. Quids in I'd say. And you wouldn't be miffed if you lost a few groats when you came to flog it on...

Don't do it, you're looking at a whole world of pain if you're thinking of doing it for profit with that vehicle. Plus as others have said lowriders rarely make a profit. If you're set on getting one, fly out to LA on a cheapo return flight and hawk around for a long weekend, buy one and ship it back, tie it in with a trip to a few relevant events for a better hit rate. The £500 it'll cost you will more than saved in the long run and you get a holiday to boot!

irol's absolutely right: lowriders have a very small appeal over here and it's not an especially good car - the only Yank lowriders that would ever be worth money here were built in the mid '80s and both were Buick Rivieras. One was a boat-tail model called 'Change of Heart': remember that anyone?

a guy had a lowrider at uni, always parked up with one wheel in the air, but everyone was hangin round a near-by chaved saxo or summit similar. That was in Newport though, the city that gave us GLC. I did have a soft spot for it though, always wanted to bounce down the road inz a gansta rappa sort of wayz...

Two reasons not buy a caddy.. 1. The price of crude oil is about $60 US today though it may drop or go up depending on the results of the bombing. 2. You don't want to be seen driving a symbol of American decadence and arrogance in London...see above- "bombing"

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

1.- its not a desireable model 2. big engine puts people off 3.system looks a bit lame, i.e. no big moves, 3 wheeling, seesaw and that
so its not that great really.
