id be interested in the front springs if daz doesnt want them! I can put you in touch with the guy that bought my great uncle's Ascona and Mk1 Cavalier, h was just gonna break 'em for bits so he could probably help you.... he's in East anglia somewhere.

Thanks for your positive responses guys. I did have most of the parts to make a pretty authentic 400 replica at one time, but I sold them to fund the Minis. I think I'm gonna go euro with it anyway; ditch the Cibies, 1980 spec black plastic bumpers (anybody got any for sale?), 7x13" deep dish rims, loose another couple of inches from the ride height, mods needed to floorpan as the rear axle already hits it under hard acceleration. Might go for a colour change too, but I might get it resprayed the original shade of white and keep it ultra clean.
I was looking at getting some ATS classics but I might go for superlights. I need to experiment a bit first, not sure 13" rims will go over my brakes.
