Those wont be a problem, but it's best if you can send em to me, as I'll need to chop out the restrictors in the middle of the hoses and swage 'em into the new ones...
I can turn them around in a day, or slightly longer if you'd like the ends zinc plated...
PM me for address etc, cheers!

Looking ace Johnny, the satin purple really growing on me. Got some rims sorted yet? Its gonna look fly! Cheers dude. Rims-wise... Ive decided for now to either a) get some original hubcaps & whitebands + slam or b) Colour-code some new steels with trimrings + whitebands + slam Both are nice cheap options until I can afford the rims I intend for the finished article (Torque Thrust II's)

Satin paint will be lovely once you get it done properly. Good to get the pourous primer covered up though Looking forward to continued work towards the finished article. Wish mine was further long the path....

Did you just use gloss paint with matting agent johnny?
I've got satin "finish primer" for the Carlton. It has zinc in and is non porous, plus its dead cheap (a shade under £70 for 3 gallons). You also only need 3 coats.

Yeh, was a semi-translucent paint with 15% matting agent added.
Its shabby but'll do for the time being

I'm wondering if that wasn't a basecoat which you should have clear coated over - using the matting agent in the clear. Thats the usual way it works.
Good to see progress on this one.
And in answer to an older question the Torque Thrust M and Torque Thrust II are in a range of different offsets. The Torque Thrust II is intended to fit old school muscle cars which have a larger scrub radius and the Torque Thrust M is for Modern muscle cars with shallower requirements. With your tighter arch clearances the M is probably the one most likely to offer a good clearance and allowing you to bag it too. I still reckon they will look the absolute bomb on there.

We were gonna throw a matted clearcoat over if it wasn't satin enough but it seemed fine - plus we ran out of time! The Torque Thrust II's come in a LOT of offset options... so will fit fine... and, look amazing. Now SWMBO has got a job, I can start saving for them too

Though, for now, I've sorted some original hubcaps... so I'm gonna sling some whitebands on and rock them for a while while I save
