Mate of the family needs a cheapo modernish daily. Hes got between £200 and £500 to spend but the car needs to have MOT- and possibly a bit of tax and not be an absolute snotter. Bascially hes looking for a bargain!

got an n reg rover 623gsi auto. mot`d til Apr 10th 2009 put 6 months tax on it this month, had new exhaust,3 tyres and rear pads for mot. drivers window don't work and the surround on the opening catch thingy??? is broke(but still opens ok!!) £400 ono can get 30mpg+ aswell!! pm me if interested and i`ll get some pics tomorrow. its white BTW!!  |

Ill ask him but I don't think he wants an auto, plus its probably a bit too big. Cheap road tax, i.e under 1500cc would be ideal.

hi tim i have a 306 diesel, on an m i think, 148k, 6 months mot, 7 months tax, needs its heat in a morning but always starts, cd player, the only downside is no heater, ok for 340 days a year but bloody cold this week lol,
in silver she looks good, excellent tires etc,
£350 + 100 quid tax if you want it,
stunning on diesel and faily nippy too, could bring it down when i come for the banger,

It's probably not what he's looking for but I have an M Reg Mondeo 1.8L automatic. About 77,000 miles on it. It's been very reliable for us.

test till 29 nov looking around 500 ono needs a front pipe and the rear wiper seen too

Ive asked him and he says hes really after a smaller car with cheaper tax, so big rovers and mondys are out- thanks anyway though!
Needs to be closer to Stoke and be on the road without any work too, i.e ready to use.

My brother-in-law is selling his Diesel Escort van for £250, It's on the road 'cos he was out in it when I called yesterday. He's just bought a lower mileage/newer/better one that's all.
No idea what model you'd call it though, Mark 5/6? Think mid-late '90s.
And it's in Tean.
