So I found this in my archives earlier: and I realised that I don't think I've seen half those wheels on actual cars, in real life or pics... anyone got any? Love the Fuchs-Alikes (number 4) and the Turbo ones (number 9)... Numbers 6, 10 and 26 would look fantastic on the right rides... ;D All pics and info appreciated ;D

I've had sets/pairs of 7,23,24,25 at various points in the last 10 years, wish I still had them but it was before I could drive legally so let them go.
IMO Compomotive have suffered with the same problem as a lot of wheel companies, i.e. the brand name only been commonly associated with a couple of variations of wheel. Say "my cars got compomotives" to most car enthusiats and they'll instantly think you mean MO's, TH's or CX's.

I've got some MS's on my Anglia but I'ld be happy to have CX's or TH's any day.

I'm thinking #21 on a Mk4 or Mk5 Cortina...
They used to be into the kit car / clone /replica market, hense the Halibrand, Ferarri and Lambo-a-likes.

There was a red MK5 Cortina that went round near my house with #29 on (and a bmw kidney grille) thought it was horrid at the time (I was only about 5 and it was hot rods or nothing) but must have been pretty cool.

No. 11 on my mates old stock rod Nova. Incidently, the Compomotive MS is a good strong wheel as we have clattered a few off the wall / fence.

#10 is a copy of the Centerline Autodrag. Loads of people also did copies. Keystone, US Wheel, Ultra, Cragar, American Racing... plus others no doubt. I think Appliance did too, and there was something similar from Image for a while. Usually they are advertised as Centrelines regardless of who actually made them.
