OR when they spunked all that money jacking up an old SJ410 that Brewer earlier proclaimed was a minter, to find it fails its MOT on terminal rust! Now, that one puzzled me too. They have a decent workshop, and Edd China, so why didnt they get cracking and weld the thing up...? I will watch it though. Often thought it'd be a better show if the whole thing was presented by Edd. My 2p worth.

I was the merc 190e bloke and before I went on I had similar thoughts about Mike. funny thing is he is a pretty decent guy, loves his cars and does what he likes, and gets paid too, how many of us would like that! I spent a day filming with him, great fun, and I still get a kick seeing my ol car on the t.v!! the black one? or the one he bought?

the black one? or the one he bought? not the one he bought, the black one Very nice. I've always had a soft spot for them as there was a D-reg 2.3 in my village when I was growing up. I really like what you've done to yours.

I used to love it - and i don't mean that as a euphemism, I actually did love it I killed it shortly after filming by convincing myself I knew which way the nurburgring went!! I bought another one and transferred all the goodies accross, even ended up turbo charging it. It was never the same as the 1st one though and I sold it earlier this year...after getting it featured in Mercedes Enthusiast, which is cool It reminds me of a story.....i had a mouse, it died, I was upset, my mum bought me another, it was never the same, nothing could repalce micky - same principle with the car currently rolling in an E55 AMG and while the V8 rocks, the soul-less, samey nature of the car certainly doesnt!

There was a turbocharged 190 on there which I loved! Either way... any pics of the blown 190? Did you use a Mosselman kit or a home-brewed set-up? Sounds really interesting!

Gets my vote too. Anyway, didn't they fake the sale of the Peugeot 205 GTI? Probably heard wrong.

If it was a test card with a Cortina on it, I'd probably happily watch it for an hour. There's not enough car stuff on telly so I'll happily watch thi and mot really knowing anything much about mechanical stuff I find it quite interesting. It's the same as Chop Shop. I might not like what they produce at the end but I like watching the process.
The only car related TV progam I've ever turned over is that Vroom, Vroom program that was on SKY 1. Now that was bad.
