I've realised that I didn't really have much of a chat with many of you guys cos I got there and wanted to look at the cars and have a wander.... Then I got engrossed in the rest of the show/drag strip/blah blah blah... So many apologies for not saying hello to everyone - I'm not normally backward in coming forward and not usually unsociable. I just saw all those cool cars and lost myself for a day. And my Podface is awesome - I look like a ginger-haired beetroot. Hope to catch up with some more of you next time/next meet up.

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

Thats ok mate. I know I missed loads of people too but there was just so much going on it would have been impossible to talk to everyone. Next year it needs to be a 2 day event ;D

Yeah there just wasn't enough time. I got to speak to a lot of people but certainly not everyone! I suggest next year everyone brings a ball of string and ties one end to their cars and the other to a belt loop. That way we can trace the owners of familiar cars!

I saw alot of people but didnt actually meet any of them!! I saw DarrenW and thought "I must go and say hi", but then thought "after I've taken a pic of this golf", by which time he had magically vanished!

I didn't speak to nearly as many people as I should have,.. I also didn't see ANYTHING go down the strip, I didn't see the pit area and I didn't spend enough time making sure owners clubs new about this place. I did however still have a great time!

Good idea ;D I chatted to a few people Irocco, PaulH and a few others i just lost track of who was who. Sorry to anyone who thought i was being rude by struggling to know what to say.

The same goes for me as well. Not enough hours in the day to see everything and meet everyone. Met rmad, rainking and co at the end of the day very breifley before being collerd by someone wanting a 131 diff! Was the best show i've ever being to and cant wait for next years. Thanks Hotwire for organising such a superb stand! Fantastic!!

I must apologise to, I really only spoke to a few people who were parked around me - impjimbo, rmad, stuyizz (?), Hytesta, HoTWire, Darren, BenzBoy - actually maybe I did speak to a few people!!
I think we all need badges for the next meet - real name followed by forum alias - felt like such a wally introducing myself as iRocco! I think the best one was when Mr_Bo11ox introduced himself - "Hi, I'm Mr plums.............." ;D

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

I must admit to being guilty of not socialising with you guys enough too - I said hello and had little conversations with a number of you when I first arrived. However I got rather engrossed in the show - looking around the other club areas & watching the racing. By the time I came back many people had left. However it was nice to meet those I did manage to say hello too, even though I have probably forgotten the 'face-to-name-to-car' relationship already All in all I had a brilliant time on Sunday - with some superb and very interesting cars on show. It was a shame I didn't manage to camp over the Saturday night, as the one day just wasn't enough + I should have imagined the campsite atmosphere was brilliant A BIG thank you to Hotwire for organising tickets/passes/banners/club parking etc etc It was most appreciated as I can imagine it took alot of time & effort The Retro-Rides stand was certainly the most varied & ecclectic (reckon the largest too) - and the mix was really representative of what this forum is all about P.S; Luckily my 'Pod Face' was thwarted due to liberal application of the factor 30 ;D
