Edit: Hope the moderators don't mind the headline, since I found it kinda too much to make garage threads on all my cars anytime Well, couldnt find my old thread for some reason, so made a new one. I -seem- to have aquired this here fine piece of automobile glory, its a 1977 Opel Commodore 2.5s, total povo spec, with a very seized engine. R.I.P. Plans include whinging a 3 litre 12v into it, and a touch with the stick, along with some tasty wheels. Along the lines of:

Me too, thats why I -had- to have it, even if I already have 12 cars And will have to live off noodles this month, hehe. The commo is actually so low spec, its basically a Rekord with 5 lug axles, and a straight six engine ;D

I do have a soft spot for nicely done Commodores. Especially the Opel ones - probably because they're just that little bit different to the Aussie ones. Good to see bits for Commodores are similar prices world-wide. I just paid $250 for a 4.2L V8 for mine Does it have the rather cool but incredibly dodgy "Vaccuum economy gauge" like mine?

Hoping so too, I kind of like it being low-spec, as i`ll be using this as my everyday getaround as soon as I get rid of my Prelude Its comfy as hell, I can tell you that tho! That will be taken care of with lowering, hehe Mercedes 123 springs, and some cutting + shorter shocks should do the trick... Except for being 5 bolt, and having a straight six, its actually got less equipment than my 72 Rekord Berlina parts car! Not even a velour interior, like in the Rekord! CLASS! ;D Its a direct swap tho, but i don't know if blue velour matches the color of the car, hehe.. Both interiors are mint tho

Yeah, had it as inspiration for a 4 door commo\rekord for quite a while Its a Rekord, for the record (see what i did there?) I`ll be needing 20 lugnuts for my 7x14 Revolution 5 spokes as winter wheels for the commo now... Off to search!

(the sound bstardchilds Monza made at RR07 still gives me goose bumps! ;D) Well, i know this fellow who has a ported head for one, with 3 45mm Webers and a full NOS setup Out of my price range for the moment tho, hehe.. And the engine i got has run quite a distance... 430000km, i believe it was.... Still sweet as, don't even need new piston rings... Out of a 89 Senator

Picking up the 3 litre tomorrow, hoping to get it running by the end of the week... Did i mention its EU-approved (MOT-ish) for the next 2 years, and with legal plates? Just have to get the (cheap) insurance sorted
