Ok, talked to our farmer guy. Apparently it used to be his brothers daily driver, some guy was sniffing round it a couple of weeks ago and they started it up, runs fine! Can't select any gears though, and the rust looks much worse than it is. Anyhow, If the guy doesn't come back I called second dibs with a solid bid of £100. Clutch plate stuck to flywheel if you can select gears without the engine running

I took that picture at Broughton Castle waayy back when. I can't remember who's car it is/was, but Jubilees aren't that common and had wierd additions like the indicator repeaters on the wings. Their spec was well above TC as they were commemorating the 60th anniversary of Morris Motors in 1973 - there were a small batch of MGB's done to the same spec. The colour is Citron Yellow and is special to these cars (it also breeds rust....). The site you got that off is my old Marina website - God, I thought it'd gone years ago! Anyhoo, if you want to see how they come up when done properly.... www.fastmarinamagazine.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1009

ive been toying with the idea of a 1.9 XUD engined sherpa gearbox on the back of an MI16 then plonking it in a marina,,,but i don't know if it actually would bolt up,,,,although it does mount the XUD at the same angle as a MI16,,,,
it would certainly be the last engine you would expect when opening the bonnet
