Hi all Not posted on here before so thought i'd give it a shot! Anyhow I'm Matt, 20 years young and from Aldershot. Heres some pics and specs for my metro turbo: Bodywork is standard, interior is standard apart from a boost gauge, engine and suspension wise as follows: Boost increased to run at 7psi upto 4000rpm then upto 10psi at 6000rpm Complete Maniflow racing exhaust system Diaphragm dump valve, orginal blocked Carb cent valve blocked Carb lean off pipes blocked K&n direct fit element air filter high performance ht leads running millers cvt oil which keeps the gearbox nice and tight Carb needle profiled to obtain correct air/fuel ratio accross the whole rev range. Probably aload of other stuff I have forgotten! Producing 131BHP at 6200rpm vids: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=agM6noGhnj8uk.youtube.com/watch?v=--Ja2D25G1sSuspension wise: All bushes replaced with powerflex poly bushes Also running 175/50/13 yoko A539 tyres Recently put this sunstrip on, unfortunately its not shaped to the screen, don't think it looks all that good, what you reckon? Some of you may have seen it at the Ace

cheers Yeh very rare now, i have come close to selling in the past but thought better of it! Thanks for the advice on the stickers! Yeh 131bhp in a metro is good fun, though a little tricky on tight roads due to the amount of torque steer lol

think I need to give the underneath a clean! As you will see, all the poly bushes are now fitted, along with all new ball joints and shock absorbers, it has a Maniflow racing system, which as you can see dosent fit all that well! Thats why theres heat wrap on certain bits as they where close to the underside and where resinating and cable ties tightening the rubbers! Is all knock free now though, decided against drilling my plenum to fit the dump valve, much easier to 'T' the pipe and means i can always revert back to how it was before. The tape and rubber round the water pipe is just to stop the samco hose rubbing through the coolant pipe as the engine moves, the original dump valve hole inside the plenum is plugged with a nut and bolt with copper washers so again, can be easily changed back. You will notice that theres a rubber fuel hose running the length of the underside, this is due to me having a running problem a while back and making sure the metal lines werent blocked, they werent but i noticed that the pump stayed alot cooler as the rubber hose was a slightly larger bore so that has become a permanent feature for now, i may change it back in time or when a stone off the road pierces the rubber pipe! Let me know what you think

That's lovely, reminds me of my nans metro which was a vanden plas model with swish seats and bits of wood in the doors. you don't see them this solid anymore. Invest in some waxoil treatment to preserve all your good work. Rockin' ride.
