I've been touching up a few rust spots on the Jetta, and ended up with a rear quarter panel painted in red oxide, up to the level of waist trim, bottoms of the doors up to the side stripes, and the front valence. Anyone got any pics of fully or half painted cars in red oxide, as it looks quite good and debating whether or not to do the whole car up to the waist trim. Looks like this at the mo: Dan.

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

Trouble is most primers eventually soak up/absorb moisture, Shame 'cause some cars look ace with a front wing/odd panel still left in primer (Yes I am nuts

There are loads of polos/gizzolfs in that stylee. I know Slater has a particular *thing* for them.
Red oxide with black/white chequered pattern is a look that needs to be done. Hard.

I've just rubbed down/scotched the satin black bonnet that I did a while back which didn't turn out quite right - it looks quite good, nice and matt/dull. Now, should I just put a white chequered stripe on that and fit it, or should i paint it red oxide too, and then add a black stripe the same as the one that goes down the side of the car? I'm hand-painting the red oxide, so it's not exactly 'smooth'..........
