Been looking at a Nitrous Oxide kit for the Car and was wondering how does this fit to the inlet on the DCOE. Is this something that has to be ordered on its own, I am sure i have seen cars with this carb and NOS setup
Reason is i basically have 500 notes just burning a hole and think humm lets spend it on summat nice so choce was nos well kind of ;D

Most likely a dry shot, 25-50hp's worth, fired by a single injector with an extra fuel injector straight into your manifold. All you do is drill and tap the 'fold for the pair of injectors, et voila.

...and don't bolt the bottle back to front and upside down in the middle of the parcel shelf so it flys off and hits you in the back of the head if you have a crash like most people who call it NOS would do oh and make sure its not in a blue bottle with NOZ written on it

you'd be better of with a four cylinder fogger kit four injectors that go direct on the inlet with fuel and nitrous supply make sure you use a company that suppys proper braided lines not those stupid plastic ones they tend to brake and can cost you your engine when they do i tried them as they were hipe'd to be the best thing since sliced bread and basicly never again luckily it was the nitrous line that broke meaning it just pumped fuel in and no nitrous if it had been the other way round i dread to think what would have happened. i always use nitrous oxide systems purely because they have been around the longest and are the biggest name in the bussiness and in a bussiness bassed on reputation that can't be a bad thing one other thing don't mount your bottle where it can get to hot seen some real horror storys about bottles that have got to hot sitting in windows ect,,

Isn't it best to keep the bottle warm though..?
I've heard of fan kits designed to keep the bottle semi-warm...

I would have the little logo and sticker of Nitrous Oxide Systems somewhere I think....maybe a subtle black or grey transfer only 2"x2" above my flags....... When I get me next sprint, or TR7 engined Dolly, it's gonna have "nawz"

Hi Mate, are you going to RCS on Sunday, if so have a look at my black A Series Manta and see how i fitted my fogger kit. I fitted it using a one off sandwich plate so there was no drilling holes in my inlet manifold. Hope it will help. Good luck.

Go here !!!,this is the best site in the cyber world regarding NOx ,better that anything the seppos have .And he's one of your lot too. ;D ;D www.diy-nitrous.fsnet.co.uk/If it's too much money, try using oxygen,as kids we used to have a full size bottle in the boot with a hose running via a cutting torch to the aircleaner,at full throttle i would squeeze the trigger on the comet cutting torch, instant HP and melted piston CROWNs ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.
