Does look clean. & such a classically 80's 2-tone.
One of my Hondas had dark metallic grey wheels with chrome trim rings & ctr caps I thought looked better than black, & on another I was thinking of just going darker in the crevices to exaggerate the wheels existing styling & make the ventilation holes look bigger...

I've decided I'm going to paint the wheels a similar colour to the top half of the car. Pictures once they're done!

Been paintin! Before- ![](http://www.postimage.org/aVVgVP9.jpg) After ![](http://www.postimage.org/aVVhVaJ.jpg) ![](http://www.postimage.org/gxQu8SS.jpg) Still have to do another coat, and once I've refitted the wheel and put the trim rings and centre cap back it should look better.

top top top!! love these old 929 wagons, i had the worlds rustiest left hooker. truly nothing will fit wheel wise ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) . but they are ace and possibly the comfiest thing ive ever driven. heres what mine looked like ![](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94/uk79sigma/100_9139.jpg) ![](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94/uk79sigma/100_9126.jpg) then some of this ![](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94/uk79sigma/100_9172.jpg) and then after six people in a small garage running round and round with a huge rattle can of satin black each ![](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94/uk79sigma/100_9178.jpg) ![](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94/uk79sigma/100_9179.jpg) ![](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94/uk79sigma/100_9195.jpg) its dead now, i sold it to benzboy who loved it for a bit, it tried till kill him on numerous occasions and he sold it to to a chap who did the staples to naples rally in it. i assume its now resting on a pile of fiats in the italian sunshine drinking grappa ;D ;D

I was wondering what it would look like in satin black - IMO it looks a little slab-sided. I'll probably leave it twotone then!

Nice looking wagon mate! Definitely far and few between now.
The PCD is 4x110mm - it's actually a reasonably common PCD on this side of the world (due to the amount of rotaries and other older Mazdas here). Early Corollas (KE10 through to TE27) run this PCD also.
Get some 4x108mm rims and use wobble bolts.

I don't think these are 4x110! The earlier generation of 929 is, but these are something else altogether unfortunatley.

I measured with a vernier and it came out at 114.3mm I wonder if that's not the same as Ford Falcons/6-cyl Mustangs/ all Mustang IIs... Saab 96 Monte Carlo, 99 and pre -88 900s also have that bolt circle... And first gen S40 Volvos... If I remember right.

To be honest, that interior makes me think of circa 1970 rather than 1985 but...yeah, only makes it even more retro! ;D

If it's 4x114.3mm PCD, you've just opened yourself to a MAHOOSIVE Selection of wheels.

Odd things happening at the moment. The car has developed an incessant whine (must be female), which is variable depending on the speed of the engine - sounds like a jet! I think it could be the cambelt tensioner, any ideas? Also, it seems the car has suddenly developed a few more horsepowers, maybe thats something to do with me removing the air filter which looked like it had been on the car since it was built! ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)
