I'm after an alloy Mountney/Momo steering wheel boss for a Vauxhall Nova.
I've got a Reliant Scimitar SS1 that I want to fit a Mountney steering wheel into & I'm told that a Vauxhall Nova boss fits the SS1 splines. However some machining will be needed as the boss will bring the steering wheel too close to the driver - hence the need for boss to be an alloy one.
I have some part numbers which may be of use - these are M770x (Nova from 1983 - 85) & M78x (Nova from 1985 - 94). These are for the "M" range of wheels (Momo style bolt pattern) but that's not a problem as I can make an adaptor plate. The horn push isn't important either as the SS1 has the horn on one of the column stalks.
I've looked online (& on eBay) but can't find anything
& I don't want to pay £40ish + postage for a new one if all I'm going to do machine most of it away!!
