This... ...has sat at the bottom of my parent's field for a couple of years now, it's a 1955 Ferguson TE20, anybody know what they're worth? I'm tempted to restore it as it is solid, no rust at all just new paint, steering joints, PTO rebuild etc. Does great doughnuts... individual rear brakes ;D I've heard that the engine formed the basis of the TR4 lump. Do you like the primer/rat finish?

We're currently doing up a Massey Fergy 135, common as dirt, find them everywhere - £5500 restored And to think all it needs is a few new wings, red hammerite and new brakes ;D Keep the wildlife growing in the engine for that extra rat look bling

Rebuild the engine to TR4 spec and fit some wheelie bars..... ;D

|
... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

Err, so I guess it shouldn`t be sat down there then . Am at home at the W/E so I'll have to beg a 4x4 from someone and drag it up. It pulls great wheelies when you go uphill with the mower on the back and snap the throttle open ;D

They have a Standard Vanguard lump in, starts on pertol then switches over to parrafin. Not worth much, my mate sold his for £700, good solid roadworthy one.
Yay for living in the country.
F**king tractors blocking up nice twisty roads, can't get any decent speed up ;D

Ooh TE20 'Little grey fergie'... wouderful.
up and running condition can fetch as low as £400.
Nearly all bits are still available for them, body items are marketed by same people that do aftermarket car body panels such as Hadrian. One thing to watch will be price of rear tyres, better to get part worn from local farm machinery dealerships.
Have you got the toolkit for it? especially the main 'spanner' with markings on the side so that you could measure the depth of the 'furrows'.
My mate sold a restored one with a diesel engine conversion, a front loader, a plough and the little work bench it could power all for just ... £550. A nice cheep hobby, although I believe his one he sold got put back into work.

I say wax the bodywork, fit chrome rims with spinners and hydraulics then show up at a lowrider meet to embarrass people ;D
