	Turns out it was this weekend just gone and so we went along yesteday morning, as that was the only day open to the public. looked very relaxed, like RRG really, mainly done for the hot rodding community to gather and get drunk ;D also heard that a weekend ticket was £15, friday to sunday, including 2 meals and a t-shirt, bargain. weather was perfect, like being in sumer again. some truely stunning cars there, also saw vw's anglia and saw him arrive but never caught up to him. heres my terrible pictures.

	WOW!! So many cool cars. Thanks for the photos. Love this one: Any more pics? This one is great too. Built by Bay Area Rods, based on a Beetle! Finally, not really keen on this one, the roof doesn't really flow too well with the rest of the body in my humble opinion. What is it though? Fibreglass kit or modified steel coupe?

	Followed the whole build of the vw Frord over on volksrods.co.uk. Very nice bit of kit.

	Pity you didnt get chance to say hi. I didnt spend much time with the car. The first pic you posted, the ble marque, thats my mates stall, the blue model a roadster is his. I spent most of the day there. Got a nice pic of chris's bug there too, the blue rat 'the curse word'. I didnt take any pics at all, but chris did. Probably posted on VZi.

	i believe this won best of show. looks like a fair few of the NE cars made it down. plenty i recognize from the metrocentre meet.

	Fantastic pics and a great show,never knew it existed. They should re-name it Wheels Day North by the amount,quality and variety of cars they had there.
