First of all let me introduce myself. I'm John and I own a few older cars...mainly SAAB 96's, 95;s and 900's but I have a few others including 2 TR7's and an early Avenger and a beetle. My girlfriends everyday car is a 1985 Nissan Sunny and she wouldn't part with it for anything...she's had it 10 years and it's still going strong. Anyway, a few people suggested I came here as someone may be able to help me get more information on something I am selling on Ebay. I have an Arnott supercharger..i have found plenty of interweb pages on them but I cant find out what this model would have been fitted to. The charger has the following numbers stamped into it..do they mean anything? L60H248 I have another that I will be listing later but would like to find out more about them. Great site..i've been reading all afternoon.

Probably better off asking about this on the NSRA forum. No idea what it's off but it's pretty cool.

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in

Found some interesting stuff.... but, the number comes up as nothing. I did find an ad for Arnott Superchargers from the carburettor company ltd, in a fifties copy of "practical mechanics" but unfortunatly it invites interested parties to send a sae for full application list and order form. It does promise that they have a supercharger to fit ANY application though.
Oh well, list it on ebay as being off James Bond's bentley continental. It may be hard to prove otherwise.
