Well as a few people know i have unfortantly remodeled the GTM a couple of weeks back, Very Very Wet and Diesel from road works on a narrow country road which i know very well and was taking easy due to the amount of rain but still she got very tail happy and i ran out of room as it snapped, within a couple of hours of it happening i had the GTM back at my workshop assesing the damage over a cold beer But shes on the mend and i am spending every oportunity repairing her, almost done the tin work. just got to sort the damn fibreglass damage, has given me the excuse to improve on her and make her even better and faster. (testing my fabrication skills and fibre glass skills again : Just need to get her ready for the british mini showdown now so i can be the fastest GTM there its going to be tight. Laters WEST Any donations greatly recieved.............

There is a GTM in a garden a few doors down from me. It has been stood for a few years now. I keep wanting to go knock on the door and rescue it, but I wouldn't have time to sort it out. I'll get some pics tomorrow

It's not looking pretty at the moment but nothing a welder, a spot of fibreglassing and a fresh coat of paint can`t sort, oh and a bit of time and money.
It was Sod's law though, 5m before or 5m later and you might have got away unscathed.
Anyway, can`t wait to see it back on the road.

At the way we are going there wont be any cars left for RCS.
I know a really good fibreglass specialist in Daventry if you need any help with the repairs.

well people i have managed to swindle a few days of work so i will be working flat out on the GTM over the next few days,, i work less hours at my job lol. thanks for the possible contact impjimbo ill keep that in mind as i will be doing a lot of fibreglassing over the next few months as this has brought forward another project i was thinking about doing, seeing I'm repairing the front I'm going to need a part mould which may be extended to a full mould and a modified front will be made at my lesiure, its lucky i have a whole spare fibreglass body for my car was thinking of selling it, guess not just yet I'm determined to get it sorted for the british mini shoot out and hopefully RCS. It was Sod's law though, 5m before or 5m later and you might have got away unscathed. or to the right there was an open field no fence or anything cheers WEST
