Hi Everyone, My little brother passed his test yesterday and wants a car, anyone with anything 1.4 and under with a sub £500 price tag for sale then please let me know. Got cash waiting. Just don't want him to become chav motor fodder. A little mk2 golf or 80's/early 90's cool hatch would do him. Plus that way i'll want to help him with it.

Mk4 Escort estate?
1.3OHV, 5 speed, 5 door.
Bit tatty round the edges but goes anywhere and everywhere for virtually nothing.
MOT 'til Feb 2009 and taxed until end Feb 2009.
Crying out to be Zetec'ed or RS Turbo'd.
£325 now I've taxed it.
It's in Manchester and in daily use.

Almost retro:
I'll have a '93 Toyota Corolla 1.3 Sportif auto 3 door hatch in white available in the next few weeks. Small bit of rust on the OSR arch, and a small rusted dent in the middle of the drivers door, otherwise really good bar the odd parking scuff on the bumpers. Drivers airbag, central locking, electric windows, sunroof, power steering, JVC MP3 head unit.
Four matching Avon ZV1's with very good tread, cambelt services about a year ago. Runs and drives really well, taxed and tested: £425.

Its a shame that your corolla is an auto otherwise that would of been just the ticket. I have shown him a couple of mk3/4 escorts but he wasnt impressed and much expect the same of the noble onion. lol. thanks anyway/t
