Beautifull. Cuba has been on my list of future holiday destinations for a while and this re-inforces that idea.

I absolutely love what the Cuban trade embago has done for their car culture. Full size yanks bieng adapted and evolving to suit their needs, modified and kept alive with ingenuity and skill just so they can keep them going.... It's created a unique automotive environment! I'd love to go just to see the cars! My friend is on his honeymoon in Cuba right now.... He point blank refused to take any pictures of cars for me

There was a great program on Motors TV the other night on Cuban car culture. Many of the vehicles are kept as family heirlooms and passed from generation to generation. Amazing stuff.

This one looks to have had a rear window used as a windscreen! look at the a pillar theres a bit of what looks like tin filling the gap. lol anything to keep them going. This kinda thing happens in oz to. Out in the bush some of the cars just keep getting "fixed" to suit the needs of the users. Doors, windows, bah! who needs them. There was a show called "Bush Mechanics" that was all based around this.
