Hey Grizz, thanks for the welcome.
I have some sport seats in it now, which don't fit the looks of the car. I'm thinking about let them be covered in leather. The interior in the cabin will be black leather probably. Don't know how to do that yet though. Good plan to move this threat to "readers rides".
how's it going with your Transit?

Hey Guys, A long silence around my bus for the last months. Because of being busy with other things, we didn't had much time to go on with the project. But..... We finaly found a sprayer who will do the job for us. Saturday we'll drive it to his private spray cabin and see what he thinks about it. I'll keep you all informed

Don't worry , it makes me feel less guilty about all the other stuff I have been doing lately, instead of working on the bus.

Hi Michiel, you have a P.M. If you google headlining or van insulation you´ll find plenty to read, most of it is commen sense although the headlining can be a bit tricky as the panel vans don´t have a metal strip around the roof to fit the headlining stays to, like the window busses do. If you get stuck give me a shout!

Neither can we.
Have you thought of using the stays from a VW bus in the roof ?
They may well be the same size, or can be with a bit of adjustment.

Hello everybody, Here a small update with some pictures. The bus is allmost ready to be painted. All we have to do now is a lot of sanding. on picture 1 you can see our new fingerplates. It was difficult to get our hands on good plates for this part of the bus. The originals consisted out of rust, kit and putty . Finally we contacted a steelworker who could make the new parts. Here the result. next is the front. the downside was very dented, so we bended it in the right way and finished it with some putty. That's it for today. I'll keep you all informed. Cheers, Michiel
