I was going to fit a single vacuum gauge in my car, but realised where do I take it off for... Do I tap into the vac. advance for the dizzy? I know I can tap into the manifold but I have two inlet runners so presumably tapping into one will give me odd readings? How the hell does it gauge what vacuum is what on the scale? Can I put two in, and have them for a single carb each, so I can use it to balance them too? Cause in that case (I have a 3-gauge pod) I'll have two full scale vacuum gauges and an oil pressure gauge Cheers!

It is possible to fit a single gauge using a T-piece in the dizzy vacuum pipe but if you want to run 2 gauges Mini Spares sells a resin spacer that fits between the carb and the manifold. It has a take off for a vacuum gauge and also reduces heat sink into the carb. www.minispares.comPart no: MFA446

A Smiths gauge like this... ..would look nice with the rest of your gauges. This is the same principle but with a different face... Anybody know what its from?

I have the one on the bottom - it matches the faces on my existing gauges... I'm going to get full scale ones though, as they will be in front of the shifter and further away, so I'll have one of the Smiths partial-face ones for sale

Doesn't the Sprint have one? Where do they hook up to?

Nah, Sprints have the same config as 1850's, but their speedo runs to 140 instead of 120...
