some more,oh dear think i have my work cut out now,i think the tin worm has had a full banquet lol underside is not pretty, nice home made rollover frame more of the original yellow,and a hole chassis rail is not very well at all front off floor ive got 2 complete floor pans to put in, a complete boot floor and some chassis repairs to do, door pillar to replace and thats only so far , oh dear i must admit it has crossed my mind to scrap it since i found all this lol

Nice, in those days those sorts of colours where very popular!
My father has a '74 original chrome bumper B which is now BRG but was originally orange.

small update for you, started chassis repairs before wasting floorpans on a lost cause lol,cat out loads of rusty maetal and replaced with nice new metal, then we cut some more rusty metal out another angle then had to fabricate a new panel out of sheet here it is in place, just need to weld it in will keep you posted as to further progress

more pics to come soon, been cutting more grot out and making new bits up,busy times lol,
must admit its a bit daunting when i look at what needs doin,before i even think about paint or mechanical bits

Lovely neat work, great stuff! I like the rollover jig too I can imagine the origional colour looking rather nice when fully restored and all the chrome in place! Bet it was repainted red to make it easier to sell though when this colour wasn't in vogue any more.

I did exactly the same thing with my 67 midget so I know exactly how you feel with the "what on earth am I doing?" thought every now and then. I think citron yellew is one of the better midget colours and I now regret not being brave enough with my colour choice. Good luck and keep us posted.
