how rare is a 1.8 manta coupe ? i know these this are prone to rust and there valuable alloy big wing sump and gearbox has lead to a few disappearing  |

I would image no more rare than the 2.0 version, come to think of it the last time I saw a Manta on the road was probably about 4/5 years ago! But yes alot of cars that could have been saved got bits robbed to get XE's in to other RWD stuff as the sump and gearbox are sort after.

Rarest of the lot, save for Irmscher versions. Can't quite tell if it has a sunroof. If not, that's a major bonus.
Having said that, a fair few have appeared in the past year or so.
Screaming for an XE obviously.
The rally boys would be allover that one, what with the XE kit and the "right" bodyshape.

it has a sunroof bit ruff round the rear arches but the floor Is solid

 - i200 (with no-cost optional Rothmans striping!) My old red 1800 hatch just visible to the left  - i240  - i400 (widebody) Rally Homolgation Special. 2.4 16v Cossie-tweaked. Made about 275bhp in works spec on hot twin carbs (140 otherwise, on injection) |

I'd say they are getting quite rare now as the later ones were built from sh!te steel and rotted away, and any that were left have been chopped up and sold on ebay for bits. Not quite as rare as my 8.2 manta coupe ;D  |
