	notice the names on the lorries (my name being latham papworth) it was my grandads haulage company, i found it in a collection of photos at my nans house sorry about the size

	Awww nice! Retro Volvos, brilliant! Obviously your grandad knew his stuff, at that time most haulage firms stuck with outdated, uncomfortable, unreliable stuff like the ERFs and Atkinsons of the time, purely because it was British, and their drivers suffered as a result. I'm serious when I say most of the drivers I know who spent a lot of their careers with ERFs now have back problems. Must dig out the pictures I have of me with now retro lorries from when I was a kid, mainly Houston of Linwood Scanias artics, I hope the pics of my dad's customised Scannie weren't binned when we moved house but I've been looking for ages and I can't find any!
