Oh no, really? I'm recording it on the Sky+ while I watch the 440 Challenger bit from Deathproof, which I suspect will be the more entertaining option of the two...

I missed it as I was replacing a tyre on my trailer. Tim Shaw, the new presenter is an absolute leg-end or bell-end depending on what sense of humour you have!

I liked it, in fact I think it's almost better than top gear as there's less ego stroking. I like JC and co because they make me laugh but 5th Gear is much more interesting from motoring perspective. Looking forward to seeing what Jonny gets up to this series.
This Tim Shaw chap, who is he? He looks mightly familiar.

Tim Shaw has done a few things. His wife sold his Lotus Elise on eBay for £1, so he got a BMW M3 and 'modified' it for 50p.
He used to be a DJ at Kerrang Radio in Birmingham. I used to work in the same building. He's a total curse word!

Still not as good as Top gear but i dunno why, it appears to copy more stuff from them every season, it should be as good but just isnt. Maybe its a presenter issue, could be somethin as simple as having adverts in it, but it don't quite do it for me.

Is Tom Ford that bad a presenter? His writing for Top Gear is rather good.

I just find him a bit egotistical. The problem is, JC is like that but worse, but comes across as more of a petrol head who can handle a car. Tom Ford comes across as someone who's scared of more than 100bhp for some reason. "It's powerful, get Tiff or Vicky to drive it!"
There probably isn't much wrong with him. He's just one of those people who I could never get on with. He probably thinks the same about me! ;D

For what good it will do, I've just fired this off at Fifth Gear:
Dear Sir/Madam, Now you have show all and sundry that old cars are good for shredder-fodder, will you please balance this report with something about the gits who steal older and classic cars for scrap value, whether or not it is in good condition. It is a growing problem that owners of older cars face, as many people don't realise a Hi-Ab with a couple of blokes in Hi-vis jackets isn't necessarily legally removing a vehicle. I believe the police in South London caught a ring of thieves recently and the scrapman had (allegedly) £60K in cash in his office - no questions asked. Many car modifiers (and I don't mean the Halfords-kit brigade) are getting seriously concerned by this, as are many who rely on their 'old' car for transport.

Tim Shaw was "Mr innapropriate" on balls of steel. He was sacked from Kerrang for fixing the competitions or something. I think hes great, wife things he should be boiled alive.

Is one of the presenters the chap off here with the w123 wagon with mismatched doors and stickers in the rear quarter windows. I sure i caught a glimps of that car in a promo picture or trailer. Or does one of the shows this series feature that car somehow.

I don't think you will get a reply, but I hope you will. Couldn't agree with you more.
