Well then, here's my attempt at pimpin' a Bratz bike It started life as this £31 bucket of style. It was stripped down and had all the stickers pealed off before getting a good sanding And a quick few coats of primer. I think it actually looks quite good in grey. An engine crane makes a good boom to hang it from I'm going back to work on it some more tomorrow, so expect a colourful update.

I don't want to reveal too much about what it's going to look like when it's done, BUT, I want to do a '70s themed bike, so it'll be brown with maybe beige accents, with a custom seat in some retro fabric. I'm going to leave most of it standard, maybe get a bigger sprung sissy bar, a big chrome spotlight and some garish pedals

UPDATE TIME I gave it another coat of primer just to be safe and started with the brown. Two-tone FTW Not a bad job considering I got a duff tin of paint Going back again tomorrow to add another coat, that is if B&Q get their acto together and order some more brown paint , Then it's just some accent colours and a top coat (or twothree).

Well, It's been a while since I updated on here, but I have been working extra hard to get this ready in time for it to get me to college. Well, here goes: I finished spraying and started to rebuild it but it was still missing a few important touches. Firstly the seat, as soon as i got the seat home I ripped off the vulgar purple fabric, so I just had a plastic seat with some padding, so out comes an old leather coat from the back of the wardrobe and off comes one of it's sleeves (don't worry, the coat was unwearable) The grips that are on at the moment are just temporary, until I find some good locking ones The mirror came from the auto-jumble at Seaburn car show, for a bargain-licious 4 beans. The only thing left to do is the chain guard, but I've got something special planned for that, so watch this space
