pure sex, what else can be said. In the new retro cars the guy with the skyline r31 said it only owed him £3000 by the time it was over here and registered. which has got me thinking how hard it it to get this on my drive. i really don't know. have any of you lot ever imported anything?

Actually the R31 owes me a little less than £3000 when registered, but it sounded like a nice round figure to use ;D The problem with getting something that is outside of the regular car auctions (ie big auction houses solely for cars) is findinga person/company to bid on your behalf. You've also got to get the car de-registered, get the paperwork sorted, then get it on a ship and most importantly insured (more ships sink on route across to the UK than you might think). I went through a company called Kadoco and they did all my bidding, sorted paperwork, transit to port, shipping and insurance etc........however I don't think they will do this for you on the regular Yahoo auctions. It was a rediculously simple process for me. I might be looking for another motor at some point so will ask around a few guys that have contacts in Japan to see what can be done about getting a car off Yahoo.

A lot of the cars are at dealers, not private auctions...perhaps that might make things easier? Here's the dealer for 'yours', although I can't see it in their stock list: www.autobox-alpha.com
