i am after a water trap for the cheapo aldi compressor i bought along with many people on here a while back i have seen a few on ebay but not knowing much about these items i did not want to risk it , so if anyone has something cheap laying about please let me know .

They've still got a load of the stuff at the Aldi just up the road from me. When I go in next I'll have a look and see if they've still got one.

Compressors draw in moisture from the atmosphere as they suck in air to compress. This builds up in the tank where it condenses into water, which finds its way along the air line to your tools etc. Water going into the tools mechanicals can eventually lead to failure, especially if you don't oil them regularly) and if you do any paint spraying, moisture in the air is pretty bad for the paint finish. A water trap will help eliminate this. There are usually a few on ebay, and I reckon machine mart etc would do them. They don't have to be specifically for your compressor, ay make will do a slong as the fittings are right for your air hose connections.
