I feel compelled to dig these out every summer...Bought for £3.99 from H&M about eight years ago... They're cheap, cheerful and put up with the abuse of being on my face. Anyone else got retro scumglasses? *n

Always a fan of some retro shades. Can't claim the same sort of barganous price though, i always get my prescription lenses put in mine so even as a two for the price of one at specsavers they break the bank.

ive got a pair of mirror lensed aviators. as a fashion item they look great, even on me, but as an actual pair of sunglasses they are rubbish, and are nowhere near as good as my trusty 12 year old arnette catfish.

so your the mysterious man waving at me in town? Beside Jury's Inn? Yup You looked a bit baffled. I don't wear prescription sunglasses as I only wear them when walking or at rest...Can't be doing with sunglasses when doing anything which requires concentration...Should be able to get some mega cheap prescription ones vi my gf though...So i'll give 'em a shot. *n

Although not massively short sighted I get a bit of a headache and generally feel a bit confused without correction so i have always gone with my lenses. I tried contatcts a while back so that i could chop and change sunglasses and in the past at festivals and the like carring two pairs of glasses for in tent and main stage sets was always an . I couldn't really get on with em so went back to prescription sunnies. Just a tint is not to expensive but speccing them up to the level of decent sunglasses - polarising anti reflection etc get a bit expensive, so mine are currentlt a graduated tint, no good really for real harsh sun, but my previous tinted pair i wore for a week ski-ing and they were ok, but without polarising lenses i couldn't read the detail of the slope.
