dice caps are a pretty cool accessory in my book, but the ones on offer are frankly curse word, i currently have a set like this, just like everyone else. so i bought a set of 4 ex casino dice, which came from a casino in lake tahoe, nevada from ebay. they're almost dave green. a size comparison shot for ya. i hummed and haa'd about which number to go through, and eventually settled for the tried and tested number one. so i measured up and marked the centre. next job was drilling them. leaving a nice hole ready to be tapped. i couldnt find the right tap to do it properly, so i carefully used a valve that i hacked from one of my spare rims. it worked a treat. and finally a trial fit. perfect.

Nicely done. Seen them also done by drilling and gluing a cheap plastic valve cap in so it's ready threaded and has some give. If the dice were very brittle you could probably knacker the thread in them.
Out of interest, how much are used dice? Presume they're technically a waste produce so should be free but expect they aren't!

Looks nice, but I assume they'll be nicked pretty quickly.

Nice work Dave! Keeping 'em for shows only I'd imagine? My record time from fitting a set and having them stolen is about 20hrs.

Out of interest, how much are used dice? Presume they're technically a waste produce so should be free but expect they aren't! cant remember the exact sum as ive had them a while, but it was under £5 inc the postage Looks nice, but I assume they'll be nicked pretty quickly. indeed, which is why they are only going on for shows. I'd imagine if they looked inside the car and saw the gearstick they'd think twice lol. Matt hehe, thats in the other car though, SEC shifter is standard. Look cool but I think you should have gone through 1, 3, 5 and, er, 1 again I'm planning on getting some more, maybe il do that to them, might mix and match colours too.

I've had dice caps on my cars for the last couple of years and no-ones ever touched them.
Guess I must just live in a nice area!

Did they go on OK? Just wondering whether to get them for my bratz bike as the spokes seem quite close together!
