I've got a huge mountain of hen's teeth and poor quality wobbly children's play pony plop here, give me a few days and I'll see if I have one at the bottom.

I've only ever bought 1 car with tax and MOT for under £100, and it only had a few days' worth, plus it was before scrap cars were worth eleventy billion pounds. However I guess it's not impossible, try lurking around some dealers looking for part exchanges they can't be bothered to deal with and offer them a pound or something.

I reckon all the trade ins get crushed these days unless they're worth enough at auction, with the scrap price being so high. They'd get more than £100 even if they were collected.

150 quid for a banger! I use to charge to pick 'em up...... never had with H frames, doorplates and the fuel tanks had to in the parcel shelf. The most i every paid was 60 quid for a Crab Hearse and it was a runner. Those were the days. Scrap price then was 38 quid Tonne

I agree - everyone on t'internet seems to know that a car is worth 2.15 billion to a scrap dealer. Some 80 year old chocker with a 1984 Honda Accord who thinks broadband is something you wear with your evening suit will perhaps be less informed! ;D
