Yeah, I've got rid of my retro rides. I used to have a Triumph Stag and a Triumph GT6 convertible (GT6 with a spitfire body tub) but they both went for the Cerb. The Stag sat in the garage once for about 14 months without seeing the light of day and I thought "what a waste" so they went for something I would use every day. I have a part built rover 3.5 twin turbo block waiting for a Scimitar to go into, so hopefully it won't be long before I'm back with something nice and old

It's got Citroen CX mirrors so it's a bit retro, and of course the engine is from the 1860's!

and of course the engine is from the 1860's! No, it's from the 1990's. This has the TVR designed AJP V8 engine, not the old buick lump 360hp from an N/A 4.2 is good enough to get you going... although I have plans...

Awesome car. Love TVRs, despite their fearsome reputation. ;D
As a sidenote, aren't those Mk3 Fiesta rear lights behind clear covers..?

Awesome car. Love TVRs, despite their fearsome reputation. ;D As a sidenote, aren't those Mk3 Fiesta rear lights behind clear covers..? Probably, they are definately Mk3 fiesta side indicators. The whole car is made up of various other odds and ends. There are parts from Land Rover, Ford, Nissan, etc. all over it. The most impressive part is the front indicator lenses. They come off a Challenger Tank, lol Have a look at the alternative parts list... homepage.ntlworld.com/dave.hinns/parts1.htm

I'd give a ball to have one of those. Probably the left. ;D
Absolutely brilliant car.
Chevy LS transplants are popular on these now.

I know of a couple, but it's not really accepted in the Cerb world as "acceptable behaviour" lol I fancy strapping a blower to mine at some stage. An LSx conversion may be an option, although it does remove quite a large part of the character of the car. The sound of the flat plane is a lot different to the rumble of a cross. I'd like to keep the AJP if i can, but it's stupidly expensive to tune the 4.2 and so I'm not surprised people are dropping it in favourof the chevy lump.
