Right we need a working 1256 suitable for a '74 viva, not sure if there were many variations of these but I can't see them being that hard to fit. Got to be a runner and got to be ready to go into the car with minimal fuss, as we might be doing this on Tigran's drive with time against us.
Oh and I have no experience of old vauxhalls but I learn fast.
Doesn't matter where it is in the country, we'll be passing everywhere on the way to Bournemouth.

Just had a thought Coggers, try alex with the rusty collender thread (mazda rotary car), he has a HB and chuvit hemight have a spare engine?

Ive got one in the chuvit I'm restoring at the mo.Its done about 110k but has just had a full rebuild by the previous owner just before i bought it including crank shells,timing chain,head gasket,water pump ect ect.Perfect runner and even has electonic ignition kit fitted.
£100 with everything you`ll need to fit it.Collection from hull.
