I am looking to sell the Escort XR3i Cabriolet with provisional interest. Overall it's not the tidiest car around, and it could do IMO with a little tidying from outside (no rotten arches, just a little bubbling here and there, and flat white paintwork).
It's had a fair bit of work over a few years where it had done 10k miles including:
Clutch & Cable
Front dampers
Lower Arms and balljoints
Discs and pads/shoes
More recently it has had the following:
New exhaust from the downpipe
4 new Tyres all round (Uniroyals)
New O/S driveshift
A Genuine Ford Alternator 90A
Tracking
Cambelt change about 4k miles ago where the oil was changed at the same time.
Wiper Blades
Number Plates
It's a solid car which starts on the button. I am looking for around £450ono for it. Not quite a classic I admit, but maybe somebody wants it here.

It will be a sale really I'm afraid. We were looking to keep this as a project (We've owned it for over a year now), but I think I need some time on my other project!

MOT until April next year. Tax until the end of July. Last MOT it failed on the exhaust (which I knew about) and passed fine.

Lol thats where I used to live, unfortunately my head is outweighing my heart.. I'm having enough trouble with space in the volvo, adding convertable to the equation is only gonna make matters worse! Best of luck with the sale.. and if you still fancy the volvo.. why not buy the Nissan Bluebird I'm after and i'll swap that for the Volvo.. or in an even nicer world.. the RX7 which would really make my day!
