na just a bit of cut chop and weld ,,,cost me 50 for the bits and about 15quid in elecy/wire and gas lol just made a start on the gearbox mount ,, bit fiddley but found a way around it ,useing the oringal place of the mk1 mounting bolts roughly how the standard mount modifyed to it ,,(ill also be adding a bit more metal to mount ,,which ill sort 2moz,,,

had to change the mount it wouldnt fit lol sorted then the dam bolts sheared off so time to tap a bigger one in there then ,its tight but it fits lol carnt see that shifting anyway soon decided to make a wiper arm ,,works fine too

small update ,,i had a problem with the engine which tuck most of the dam day to solove as my injectors stuck open ,after a changing some wireing and settings on the standalone ecu ,i got the chuff to idiol and rev ,at last ,still in the early stages but its all progress i reckon ,,videos a bit dark and horried alti belt makeing a noise but u can hear the buggar lol tinypic.com/player.php?v=30vd81z&s=5

well i wil keep getting a few bits done here and there lol,what may happern will be another story ,i know it wont be a problem gettinga 400bhp from it ,and some more but i think the tyres will start to burn lmao

had a few hours spare so decided to get some bits sorted first bit of inner wing welding then had to make a differnert bottom inner sill ,due to my exhaust has to run under it then added some heat wrap to keep the heat temps down a bit had to order some more ,,,too ,as it soon runs out lol then added some front brake flexis and made some new copper brake pipes then just had time to make a new door bottom and repair door

thought id rip the other side out and bob a plate in and thow some brake pipes in and as I'm awaiting a few parts ,i decieded to solider a few joints

it should sound better once all the squicks and leaks are sorted ,, and all ull hear is a turbo whistle ,dumpvalve /nice induction roar ,, and a humble side pipe sound ,,all in one ,,lol

are you running the original servo and MC? Caddy's and Mk1's are renowned for their vagueness in terms of pedal feel; I'm going to run a big B3 get passat servo and 22mm t4 transporter 4 outlet m/c; and alternative to the late mk2 GTI servo and m/c (comes with 4 outlets from GSF)....

The standard master cylinder and servo will not cope with the bigger brakes you've fitted.
