If you were to recommend one piece of kit for your tool box what would it be? That tool which is fairly inexpensive but essenatial to stop you tearing your hair out?
I only recently bought a decent breaker bar and what a difference it makes.
I know this is simple stuff but for the novice little bits of info can save you a gazillion hours and many a bloody knuckle!
So what have you bought recently that you could now not survive without?

Pump pliers. Either that or fuel hose clip pliers, they're brilliant.

Flexi drive Jubilee clip driver - those damn things are always at stupid angles and locations - a flexi drive with a hex bit on the end means you can get on em and undo them easy peasy

A proper brake union spanner! Spent years destroying crappy corroded unions with normal open-ended spanners 'till somone told me you could get a special spanner just for these unions! Worth it's weight in gold!
Latex gloves of course! Get a big box!

I need to buy a brake union spanner! I'm so tired of using an 11mm spanner when I really need a 10.675mm one! ;D

Chassis tilter, made it myself for pennies and it's saved me weeks when it came to removing old underseal and painting the floor.

Leatherman. Legend of a tool. You can do anything with one! I have pretty much restored cars using a leatherman solely.
Don't call them supertool for nothing.
