Avenga, that looks worse than mine. Which I'm sorry to say, gives me encouragement Yay, I was hoping it would give you some encouragement knowing that it can be fixed. Mine was worse by the looks of it. In my crash the wheel took a hell of a hit, it broke the lower control arm and brake reaction rod, then the wheel got pushed back up in to the firewall, down by my feet (got a sprained ankle from the impact) I had to cut out a new lower firewall section out of a donor car and straighten the chassis. The suspension strut was a complete right off which was expensive because I run a custom adjustable strut for racing. Other than that I just got some panels from the donor car and bolted them all up. Here is a photo of it after I repaired it.

Are these any good? If not I can scan them for you, but it will mean changing a fuse.

Good news today SER236K will be going on the jig at Suffolk college in september. My mate Niall will be in his 3rd year of his body repair course and will be using my car as part of his coursework. Not only will it be straightened out, it will be painted too

Yeah, staying blue. I'm gonna get all soppy now. I love this car, and I'm not going to let some smarmy bean counter from the insurance company sign it's death certificate.

I've only just caught up with these recent sad events, I'm stunned by how similar to escRots damage this looks, hopefully I'll find the same sort of solidity underneath the wing.
I'm so very happy to see that this'll be back in the not too distant future.

So what's going to be the mode of transport in the meantime? I, like others on here are sad to see the damage, but heartened to see it's going to be repaired and I guess by the best possible means, after all, if your mate does a less than satisfactory job, he fails his course where as a garage could potentially do a substandard repair and just walk away.

For now, it's my trusty Trek 520. At least the weather's nice. Yeah, I have complete faith in my mate to get it sorted, he's a good lad

Have you thought about hiring a dozer? Not as accurate as a jig but should be able to pull those creases out.
