Mmmmm!
I suppose at least a Scirocco looks like a Delorean a bit, if it's dark, and you are squinting, and you've drunk a gallon of scrumpy jack.
As an aside, I noted the other day a Scirocco parked alongside a modern 'sporty coupe-hatch, a Citroen C4.... amazing how low the Scirocco is, roofline is at least a foot coloser to the ground.

They were a good bunch of lads driving it though - I remember customs in Calais giving them a lot of interest... they had to remove various body addenda, which subsequently got stuck straight back on again half a mile down the road! It's not supposed to look exactly like a DeLorean, it's just supposed to be funny - that's the spirit of the Scumball.

That actually works though, the shapes of both cars are about the same. The Datto is only about half scale, lol.

They are all brilliant - as long as the tongue is firmly in cheek, it's not a problem IMHO It only gets scary when the owner is convinced it is the most convincing thing in the world, or that they are the character out of the film

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.
