I'm changing the body on the viva i have found that theres no room for the plate on the front so decided i wanted a sick on one for the bonnet. my question is when did reflective plates become nessercary and if before 78 can i get reflective stick on plates and where from

I belive cars first registered after Jan 1 1973 have to have refective plates....

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.

I've got a 1993 mini with a non-reflective self adhesive plate on the bonnet and Ive never had any problems. I don't think the feds are too bothered, as long as you don't start messing with the font type and the letter spacing.
