Thought i'd post this in this section - as I think my Puma is far too modern to be worthy enough to go in the 'Reader Rides' section.
Anyway this is my daily driver that i've owned for the past year or so. And like any of the cars that i've ever owned I just couldn't help doing 'something' to it
Inspired by my mate who reckoned it looked like the baby of his Audi A8 - with its blue/grey paint & flat spoked wheels...
I decided to emphisise this by getting the std wheels refurbed with the face diamond cut (I needed a new set of tyres anyway so this seemed an ideal opportunity) To emulate the 'faced' 20's on the Audi
Also fitted a fairly subtle S/S Scorpion exhaust... I wouldn't have bothered but the original exhaust was on its last legs & my mate offered me this one that had been sitting in his warehouse over in Ireland for stupid money - so was cheaper than getting a factory spec m/steel system - sounds pretty fruity
A few other additions round off the o/a package, including a set of NOS Racing Puma front mats & an Alpine head unit with ipod control
I know its not to everyones cup of tea - but I really like it, the 1.7VVT engine pulls sweetly & the handling has a real chuckable.. jump in and drive quality In an ideal would I would wack it hard with the old lowering stick & fit Compomotive THs - but for handling and insurance reasons, i'll stick with how it looks at the moment
