Proper pics to follow.... Had a year with a Golf GTI (hence the sig) but I'm all roads lead back to Longbridge for me, so I've managed to prise this 100% original, 58k, FSH Cooper off a work associate for reasonable money. It's the 'Mainstream' carb model they only made for a year following the RSP LE, after which it all went complicated with the SPi set-up. It's on ditchfinder 145s and still has the cat underneath - which I can legally remove

very nice mate, whats the plans for it? Gotta be kept looking stock as it's so clean and original. Mind you it's still got the cat on the exhaust and that'll be going when funds permit. Foglights are crappy cheap aftermarket things and are playing up anyway, so will be coming off. Will lose the EU front plate too when me V5 turns up.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

de cating is definately a good idea, ive got a 1275 carb'd mini and once i replaced my exhaust with a de cat one it changed loads, much better. then drill the air box and out your rad cap back on
