awesome is the only word i can muster that even remotely describes how that looks its amazing, with bruce driving it looks comically small, with dave behind the wheel it looks like a normal sized van ! I think you should buy a few straight bits of stainless pipe, and let me loose to make an exhaust for that

Most excellent! Are you gonna keep the standard engine? Do you still have enough TurboVecs for the Hustler?

Most excellent! Are you gonna keep the standard engine? Do you still have enough TurboVecs for the Hustler? Yes and yes. I didn't want to complicate the project with engine conversions....it kind of 'is what it is' and I like it for that. Cheap to insure, tax, run and maintain, but with a big grin along the way ;D Next step is to get the coilover set-up worked out for the rear end, make some adjustments to the way it all mounts and get everything settled just how I want it. This may mean having some of the mounting face of the Vec's milled away to allow a bit more drop....but I'll wait until I've got the rear suspension finished first. I'll get photos up of some of the weekends work soon.

As some of you may have seen, I'm currently selling some of my collection of wheels. I'm hanging onto some of my faves like the Allycats, Hayashi's, Nothelle's etc....but about five sets are going. One set for sale is my MA61 Celica Supra rims. I love them but figured I had no real need for them, so stuck them up for sale. Gazjon asked if I'd ever fitted them on the Rascal and it didn't take any encouragement for me to head straight down there today and stick them on to get an idea what they looked like on the little van. One of the main reasons was to see if they would clear the sliding door because this would involve some work if they did. I wouldn't really want to sell them if they meant the rear doors couldn't be opened. Unfortunately, they do hit the door, so that kinda scuppered that one then! (Gazjon is now buying the Lotus Turbines I have for sale which clear perfectly) I do love the way they look though, so will probably keep them and make them fit as an 'optional' set of wheels if I fancy a change from the Vec's Photos don't do them justice - in the flesh they look AWSOME! I really want to make them fit now... I think this might have to happen ;D

That's not that far away. This is dangerous. I'd blatantly put it on it's side within hours of ownership though ;D
