There's no reason to be good with typing and computers if you can rebuild a car to that standard!

Great to see ! Always encouraging to see a nicely cleaned up example while I slowly work away on my '81's & yours certainly does look good.
Did you relocate the rear sunroof drain-tubes while you were at it.?... I'm tempted to since their dumping water into the sills doesn't seem too clever & is definately one of their rust areas ! Currently busy trying to repair previous owners/panel repairers ideas of repairs upon both mine though. Bonus that you had a nice example to start with.
Hard to let go of a good first car that treats you well in spite of the abuse they often get !

Holy awesome paint job batman! Just absolutely stunning, the quality of the finish and just the cleanliness and straightness (in a non homo-bashing way) of the car. Welcome to the forum dude!

80hp 1602cc & 910kg so not super fast. More emphasis on economy with comfort so reasonably torquey but still game for fun driving. A 'Personal car'
Accord drivetrain in enlarged 2g Civic inspired floorpan so virtually an Accord Hatch minus 10kg & practicallity with rear anti-rollbar, low roof & standard glass Sunroof.
Probably bit more nimble & refined than most of its RWD live-axle Japanese competition ?
2nd gen went bigger & more expensive/sophisticated suspension with smaller CR-X companion. 1st gen was somewhere in between.

A beautiful car you have there, and what a lot of time and effort you have put in. It looks better than new.
I had a black Mk1 Prelude when I was a student, and I loved the car to bits even though it was rotten as a pear. I always vowed i'd have another, but alas it was not to be.

Thanks for all your comments everyone. Performance-wise its as '79cord' said. I've got a full custom stainless exhaust and K&N filter but it still ain't that quick, its more of a cruiser. A few bits I missed out before are wheels are genuine Mugen which I was given by a mate - they were all silver when I got them but I didn't like them so I sent them away to be diamond turned on the rim and then I painted the centres black. Its lowered 35mm on Kingsprings which I had to get from Australia and I had braided brake lines made up by Goodridge. I'll put a few more pics up when I get time. Hope to see some of you at Retro Show.
