Here are a few pics of my current project. It has a 1.8 Manta engine on 40's and a 5sp Manta gearbox. Manta Recaro seats, Kadett GT/E clocks and has been fitted with a Safety Devices rollcage from a Chevette. Future plans are to fit a Cavalier SRi 130 engine, Manta B rear axle with ZF LSD and a fresh coat of paint.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I have to fit arch extensions because of the extra width of the Manta axle, so I think they will have to go Love the Firenza in your signature, is this yours ?

Sounds a bit familiar this. My coupe had a Manta 1800 engine and box (without 40's tho ) has a roll cage, Manta Recaros in the same check cloth and currently runs SRI 130 power. Managed to get an A series axle tho, so stock arches have stayed. Looks hard as on those deep minilights

Mechanic's rule #1... If the car works, anything left on the floor after you finished wasn't needed in the first place

theres a chevette hs axle on ebay at atm £150 u wouldnt need arch extensions then ;-)

Not in Tipp but not a million miles away! I work in Dublin (but i'm not a Dub, don't fret!!). Magnum is not quite 'road-legal' at the minute, or roadworthy actually! But its getting there.
Slowly
