Just realised I don't have a readers ride thread for the Scala. So here it is. 1987 Scirocco scala. Coilovers, cups and stickers. Thats all so far. As I got it. Getting weighed at my dads work. Cups added Done! Added boat bonus:

Yeah they're 15".
The only plans are mainly repairs. It needs new doors. It could also do with a new bonnet and boot. Plus I really should jack the suspension up a little, the wheels rub over largeish bumps.

Looks clean man, why does it need new doors?

Its got chuffing great big rust scabs on them. You can see the size on the bottom picture. The passenger side door has 3 or 4 the same size.

Surely a fill and touch up could do a much cheaper job? Mind you I only say this because sourcing parts for scirocco's around my way is tricky business

Might be a good choice. The rust is pretty bad though. Looks like it could escalate into a full blown hole without much persuasion.
