Gotta say this, i doubt you'll find a car for the price you're asking with scrap price the way it is and all that.

Let me know if you have anything or know of something Thanks Stuart If you have any idea of what sort of car you would like I'd recommend joining the owners club. I'm a member of the Imp Club and ASOC and both clubs have monthly magazines and web forums where people may advertise cars for sale. People quite often contact the owners clubs with cars that they want shot of. Usually they are quite cheap or free. Indeed I picked up a Sunbeam Stiletto for free a few months back that was advertised in the monthly Imp Club magazine. Likewise check out sites like Practical Classics or ebay. If it is an older classic that you are looking for (70s or earlier), the owners of these cars are probably less inclined to send them off to the scrappy simply because the car has some sentimental value to them.

yeah, but I bet he'd rather have a sunny than a sh!tty lada, scott! I don't think that's the acceptable attitude here, I'm friends with brian and he knows i'm joking, he's ribbed me for some of my purchases in the past. I think ladas are accepted as retro here, as pandamonium and cookie both have (or had) pretty Cool ones! I think you're just getting angry because you got banned from a few foums because i didn't want people there to get scammed. I think ill send hotwire a little PM with what's happened and see what he wants to do with you.
