I'm after some radiator hoses, but I can only ever find suppliers of silicon hose. I don't want silicon, as it's too expensive. I can't go to a motor factors as it's always "what car is it for, mate?" and it's a custom install with all manner of parts from different manufacturers in it!
I need somewhere that does different bores and different bends, in regular black rubber.
Last time I installed a rad in my car I just went round the scrappys pulling off various pipes that looked likely and made up the connections out of those, but I really want to do something a little less traveller this time. ;D

Hydraulic places will do all shapes and size of rubber hoses. I know of one in Manchester, but not Nottingham

I never thought of hydraulics places - I need some other stuff from them too so it could work out pretty well. There's one down the road from me too. Thanks for the pointer!

There is two places in Mansfield the do hoses and the like that might be able to help you. Is there a Pirtek near you? Failing that its a sit with the book of hoses and seeing what fits what. Do you know what size and length hose you need?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
